  • Allison Anderson

    President

Senior Project Manager – DPR Construction

What got you into Healthcare and how many years have you been in the industry?

My dad started his own company selling medical devices and my natural instinct was to take over his company and work in the healthcare field. After starting my Engineering Degree at Clemson University, I realized that while I had a passion for the healthcare industry, I also had the drive to want to be a builder. After graduating with a Civil Engineering degree and starting my career as a General Contractor, my first assignment was a ground up hospital project, and I’ve loved being a part of healthcare construction never since.

What’s your job/role and what is your favorite aspect of your job?

What I love most about my job is the people I get to work with day in and day out. Construction is an exciting field where you get to work with folks from all walks of life. I particularly enjoy the healthcare field and working with the care givers and hospital staff. There’s an extra level of passion and drive when you know you’re work is bettering the communities we live in and where we receive care. These healthcare facilities are where we have our babies, where lives are saved, where cutting-edge technology can change the life of our loved ones, and it is truly an honor to be a part of constructing and renovating these facilities.

What prompted you to get involved with Women In Healthcare?

I love that we are able to bring this organization to South Carolina to connect and empower healthcare industry professionals with camaraderie, education, and mentorship. I’ve always searched for an organization where I could find a mentor that I connect with on both a professional and personal level, and I love that this group offers an opportunity to do that as well as also give back to the up and comers in the industry.

What do you love to do in your spare time? What’s your non-work passion project?

I’m a mom to a giggly, active toddler and I love finding opportunities to spend time with her and my family, be it on the lake, at the park, or exploring all the fun activities Greenville has to offer. Along with my extended family, we are die-hard Clemson football fans and our fall revolves around going to the games and hosting watch parties. Work hard, play hard, and go tigers!

  • Kristie Nicoloff

    Membership Chair

Senior Associate / Healthcare Sector Leader – LS3P ASSOCIATES LTD.

What got you into Healthcare and how many years have you been in the industry?

I have been working in healthcare design and facilities for the last 25 years. 10 of which was spent forking for major hospital systems in NC and SC. The remaining time spent in design in architectural firms.

What’s your job/role and what is your favorite aspect of your job?

I currently lead the LS3P Greenville office as the Healthcare Sector leader. The favorite part of this position is touching base with different HC systems and clinics to see how we can best support their needs through design.  I also love supporting my team and seeing them shine.

What prompted you to get involved with Women In Healthcare?

Over my career I have been extremely fortunate to have had great female mentors. I am at a place in my career where I desire a strong mentor group from all levels of expertise as well as affording myself to be a mentor to someone else and repay the kindness that was shown to me.

What do you love to do in your spare time?

What’s your non-work passion project (if you have one)? When I have spare time I enjoy nature and a nice walk around a lake or in a kayak. My non-work passion is working with young ladies through Girl Scouts.  I have been a leader for over 10 years and I love seeing young girls/ladies achieve goals and overcome fears to develop into the next generation of leaders.

  • Eboni Martez

    Advisory Board Member

Chief Operating Officer, Academics – Prisma Health

What got you into Healthcare and how many years have you been in the industry?

I have been in the healthcare industry for approximately 23 years. Family is what got me into healthcare. It was seeing how individuals I loved and cared for had difficulty sharing, advocating (for their health), and difficulty adhering to guidance’s that increased my interest. I did not have a desire to become a physician yet if I could impact how the providers cared for how I did, then sign me up – and here I am over 23 years later.

What’s your job/role and what is your favorite aspect of your job?

I currently serve as the Chief Operating Officer, Academics for Prisma Health System. My favorite aspect of the role is honestly working with various stakeholders who are innovative, passionate about education and research, with the ultimate icing on the cake being inspired each day being able to witness how vision, implementation, and infrastructure supports yields realized dreams.

What prompted you to get involved with Women In Healthcare?

Community is what prompted me to get involved with Women in Healthcare. WIH provides opportunity for safe space discussions, networking, and opportunity to engage with various women professionals across multiple healthcare industries.

What do you love to do in your spare time?

Spare time what is that exactly (smile). Honestly, my spare time involves all things travel, family and sleep. I am a part of various organizations that allow me to serve and give back to my community.

  • Spency Berry

    Treasurer

Account Manager – CBI Workplace Interiors

What got you into Healthcare and how many years have you been in the industry?

I was an interior design major at The University of Georgia and graduated a couple of years after the 2008 Recession which made it difficult to start a career in the design industry. I was able to find a position with a commercial interior design firm in Wilmington, NC and had the privilege of working on several healthcare projects in that market. I quickly realized how fulfilling it was to create impactful spaces for people who are truly in need of a health positive environment and have continued to focus on healthcare design to this day, 15 years later.

What prompted you to get involved with Women In Healthcare?

I attended several events as a guest, then as a member, and quickly realized I wanted to get more involved. The events were always well attended with meaningful conversations and connections made.

What’s your job/role and what is your favorite aspect of your job?

I am an Account Manager at CBI Workplace Interiors, with a focus on healthcare accounts. My favorite aspect of my job is that every day is different, and every project I work on is unique, especially when it comes to healthcare. I could be working on new interior construction headwalls at a hospital with a general contractor at the same time as a communal lounge area with collaborative furniture at an infusion clinic, working directly with the nurse manager of that specialty

What do you love to do in your spare time?

I love to spend time on the water exploring with my 19-month-old twins, Win and Piers, my husband, Chris, and our two labs, Finley and Skye.
